The DuPage Airport Authority offers both month-to-month hangar and tie-down lease agreements. Each option requires a 30-day written notice for cancellation.

The Authority provides flexible aviation development solutions, including long-term ground leases and build-to-suit agreements, allowing tenants to structure arrangements that align with operational and financial objectives.

Corporate Hangar Leases

DuPage Airport is designed to accommodate all aviation users, with a strong focus on corporate aviation. More than 90 turbine and jet aircraft are based at the airport, with daily transient traffic including all Global Express, and Gulfstream G650 series along with Boeing Business Jets.

Development Opportunities

DuPage Airport Authority offers approximately 1,200 acres dedicated exclusively to airfield operations, providing significant opportunities for expansion and unobstructed runway approaches. The Authority’s broader 2,800-acre campus also includes Prairie Landing Golf Club for a championship course rated 4.5 out of 5 stars by Golf Digest and a business park, creating a dynamic environment for aviation and corporate growth. 

The Authority provides flexible aviation development solutions, including long-term ground leases and build-to-suit agreements, allowing tenants to structure arrangements that align with operational and financial objectives. 

DuPage Airport Authority property is tax-exempt. Privately owned or leased improvements on airport property are subject to a leasehold tax calculated using a present value formula. The Authority works collaboratively with tenants to minimize tax impact by balancing lease terms, base rates, and maintenance structures.
