Specialized Aviation Service Organizations

A Specialized Aviation Service Organization (“SASO”) is a commercial Operator that provides one or more of the following services: (1) specialized aircraft repair services (radios, painting, upholstery, propellers, instruments, accessories, etc.); (2) aircraft airframe and powerplant maintenance and repair; (3) flight training; (4) aircraft rental; and/or (5) aircraft charter and air taxi.

Those entities who conduct business as a SASO at DuPage Airport are required to comply with the DuPage Airport Authority Minimum Standards and are required to obtain a SASO Agreement from the DuPage Airport Authority.
